Jonas Lehmann, who has only started judo a good six months, competed in his weight class against other judoka who also have no competition experience. He reached third place.
Marvin and Nolan Seifert as well as Tim Pischel, on the other hand, had experienced opponents. Due to the small difference in weight, the Seifert brothers competed in a pool together with 3 other opponents. Marvin achieved third place after losing two and winning two fights. Nolan was unfortunately unable to win a fight – certainly because his opponents were between 6 and 12 kilos heavier. In the end he ended up in 5th place.
Tim Pischel competed against 3 higher-level judoka and managed to win one of three fights. This meant he was guaranteed 3rd place. Each of our four participants was happy to have attended this competition to gain competitive experience.
