Remembering Roberto Arpaia: A Tribute to Forlì’s Basketball Icon

Roberto Arpaia, managerial soul of Fulgor Libertas and sporting director of the then Vem Sistemi, passed away on Wednesday afternoon. He would have turned 73 on June 4th. The funeral has yet to be scheduled.

Those who knew him were able to appreciate his sense of duty, generosity and irony. Eyes in love when they saw an orange ball burning the retina. A trained and competent manager, he has put a lot of passion into the growth path of the local basketball movement. After leaving the club, he continued to follow his beloved sport.
