OPEN LEAGUE OF RICCIONE 2024: THE RESULTS
The event took place between 12 and 14 April first stage of the Open League at the Playhall sports hall in Riccione (RN). The event attracted male and female athletes from all over Italy, counting 1700 members, involving all age groups, from U14s to seniors. The race took place on 8 competition areas with the presence of the video review for the first time: an unprecedented solution within the Open League circuit, which has raised the status of the competition.
Lazio did not miss the opportunity to participate with 278 male and female athletes in the categories of kata and kumite, which represented 16% of registrations: symbol of the presence of karate in the Lazio region and the desire to compete in a high-level competition, where it is the ranking to be the master.
The Lazio companies managed to obtain 39 medals in the different categories and age groups: a great result, which places the region among the most awarded in Italy.
