Between May 18 and 19, Puertollano will host the Final Four for promotion to the honor division of wheelchair basketball clubs.
The BSR Amiab Club of Puertollano will be in charge of organizing the sporting event, following the commission received by the Spanish Federation of People with Physical Disabilities, as its directors have conveyed to the mayor, Miguel Ángel Ruiz, and the sports councilor, Javier Trujillo, in the first meeting they have held to coordinate this promotion phase in the Santiago Cañizares pavilion.
The semifinals will be played on May 18 between BSR Amiab Puertollano, «Sureste Santa Lucía» from Vecindario Gran Canaria, ‘Adein Tenerife’ and ‘Zuzenak’ from Vitoria, while the grand final will be on May 19.
The mayor applauds that the Puertollano courts are going to host an event that combines sport, equality and integration and expressed his support and collaboration in the organization of this Final Four.
