The Tennessee Titans will first be on the clock in the 2024 NFL draft with the No. 7 overall pick, and at this point just about everything should be considered possible in that spot.
With so many teams in the market for a quarterback, it can’t be ruled out that the Titans trade back, even if Notre Dame left tackle Joe Alt is on the board. We say that because general manager Ran Carthon has repeatedly said how deep this year’s draft class is at offensive tackle.
What should the Titans ultimately do?
Well, if you ask me, they should stick and pick Alt if he’s there. If he’s gone, that’s when the possibilities should really open up, including a trade back. I wouldn’t even rule out a receiver at No. 7 if one of the top three are there.
However, the Titans can’t move too far back if they do decide to go that route, like in a recent trade scenario a Buffalo Bills beat writer dreamed up that had Tennessee moving back to No. 28.
As we continue to patiently await the first round of the 2024 NFL draft, which is set for April 25, here’s a look at the current odds for the No. 7 overall pick. There are some players at positions the Titans won’t consider, so it’s likely they are listed because of the possibility that Tennessee will trade out of that spot.
