You won’t see Petra Kvitová on the courts since the beginning of this year, but in recent days she has shown herself at the scene of one of the most prestigious tennis tournaments. And she admitted that her next visit might not be long.
At the weekend, the pregnant tennis player shared a photo of herself and her husband Jiří Vaňek in Monaco. One of the prestigious clay tournaments is held there every year. “Who knows when we’ll see this again,” she wrote in English on Instagram. In just a few months she will have maternity duties.
Kvitová boasted about the happy news from her personal life on New Year’s Day. “We wish you all the best for the new year and at the same time we want to share great news with you. We are expecting a baby in the summer,” she announced on the social network.
“While I will miss my annual trip to Australia and the sport I love, I look forward to spending some time at home preparing for this exciting next chapter in our lives,” she added.
