Paris Saint-Germain and Borussia Dortmund Qualify for Champions League Semi-Finals

Luis Enrique’s players managed to qualify, this Tuesday, April 16, for the fourth Champions League semi-final in PSG history. Despite the quick opening of the Barcelona score through Raphinha (12th), the Parisians returned to the game thanks to a goal from Ousmane Dembélé (40th) and Vitinha (54th), before seeing Kylian Mbappé give the definitive advantage for the club from the French capital (61st and 89th).

At the same time, Borussia Dortmund also qualified at the expense of Atlético Madrid. Paris and Dortmund therefore meet again after having faced each other in the group at the start of the season (2-0 victory for PSG and 1-1).

When will the semi-finals take place?

The semi-final first leg will take place on Wednesday May 1st and the return match will take place 6 days later, on May 7th. The first leg will take place in Dortmund at Signal Iduna Park, where Edin Terzic’s players will host Paris Saint-Germain. Qualification for the final will be played in the return match at the Parc des Princes.

The other semi-final between Bayern Munich and Real Madrid will be played on Tuesday April 30 for the first leg and Wednesday May 8 for the return match. Note that the first leg will take place at the Allianz Arena, Bayern Munich’s stadium, and the return will be played in Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu.
