Students from the CEIP Raimundo de Blas, Elvira Lindo, Margarita Salas, Kantic@, CEO Atenea and the IESO Arroyo and Antonio Tovar, the latter from Valladolid, will participate this Friday in the celebration of Physical Education Day on the Street. It is a day that aims to expose society to the benefits of the subject, giving it visibility in public spaces, and showing that Physical Education is for everyone.
Students and teachers will gather at 9:30 a.m. in the Plaza de España in Arroyo de la Encomienda, where the mayor, Sarbelio Fernández, will welcome them. He will be accompanied by the godfather of the day, gymnast Egor Herrero Álvarez, from the Arroyo Trampolín Club. Next, the different sports activities will begin, mainly basketball, athletics and badminton, which will continue until 1:30 p.m. when the day closes with a great batukada.
