Paris Basketball Celebrates Victorious Season with Fans at Town Hall

Meeting at 6 p.m., Paris Basketball supporters are stationed in front of the Town Hall of the 18th – Parisian district where the Adidas Arena is located – awaiting the arrival of their heroes. As the story goes, the first to appear was assistant coach Bienvenu Kindoki – you could have bet. Then the Admiral followed closely, with the term “Legend” as a welcome song chanted loud and clear by the Kop Parisii.

After a few minutes of waiting, the moment finally came for fans to enter the large hall of the 18th Town Hall, the last stop before seeing the entire Paris Basketball team and their second trophy won this season.

To wait a little longer, the speaker warms up the supporters in his own way by recalling the exceptional record of Paris Basketball during this Eurocup season: “Average of 97 points scored per game. Climbing the stairs of the 18th Town Hall one by one, Tuomas Iisalo and his men gained height to start the celebration. During this, a series of speeches from the players and staff, punctuated by the various chants of the supporters. The first to open the “voice” is Michael Kessens – accompanied by palpable fatigue from his first words: “We celebrated a little too much yesterday. It was a successful job which started in August. The whole club put us in the best possible situation to bring this cup back to Paris.”

The former Gauthier Denis took over, with a little more ease: “Thank you to those who have been there since the start of the project in 2018, thank you to those who arrive day after day. The season is not still finished so we are counting on you for the next matches.” Short but effective, like his entries into play. The magical Paris Basketball duo TJ Shorts and Nadir Hifi also gave their thanks, with a nice touch of emotion for the second: “The love you give us all year long, I have no words. You are very important to us. We saw you when you caused a commotion in Bourg, they were impressed. The adventure goes on.“
