Badminton: two Vietnamese players qualified for the Paris 2024 Olympics

The Badminton World Federation has announced its latest rankings which also serve as the basis for determining official qualifications for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games (OG).

In this ranking, the Vietnamese Nguyên Thuy Linh ranks 17th among women with 48,350 points, and her compatriot Lê Duc Phat, 37th among men (23,630 points), thus securing their places to participate in the Paris Olympic Games scheduled for July and August 2024.

Currently, Nguyên Thuy Linh and Lê Duc Phat are participating in training inside the country. They also plan to participate in some international tournaments in May and June for better preparation for the Paris 2024 Summer Olympics.

Jusqu’à présent, le Vietnam a obtenu dix places officielles pour participer aux Jeux olympiques de Paris 2024 : Nguyen Thuy Linh, Le Duc Phat (badminton), Trinh Thu Vinh, Le Thi Mong Tuyen (tir), Nguyen Huy Hoang (natation) , Nguyen Thi That (cyclisme), Trinh Van Vinh (haltérophilie), Vo Thi Kim Anh (boxe), Nguyen Thi Huong (canoë) and Pham Thi Hue (aviron).
