Nassira Konde and Marine Ménager withdraw from the match in Wales

Nassira Konde and Marine Ménager will not be in Les Bleues’ match against Wales this Sunday in Cardiff (4:15 p.m.). The center and the winger were both victims of a head impact during Sunday’s success against Italy at Jean-Bouin (38-15). If the first finished the match against the Transalpines, its connected mouthguard sounded after the match, alerting of a concussion.

Marine Ménager was released after a shock received during a tackle. She was replaced by Morgane Bourgeois in the 54th minute. The two players will therefore not participate in the match at the Arms Park, but they remain with the group, in Marcoussis.

For Mélissande Llorens, also out on concussion protocol against Italy (in the 70th minute), no complications however. The winger had already been reassuring about her condition after the meeting, and she applied for the trip to Wales.
