Mexican Para Archery Team Shines with Gold and Silver at 2024 Parapan American Championship

MORELIA, Mich., April 29, 2024.- The national para archery team concluded its participation in the 2024 Parapan American Championship of the specialty, held in Sao Paulo, Brazil, with four medals: one gold and three silver.

According to Conade, Samuel Molina Núñez, open recurve champion at the Santiago 2023 Parapan American Games, once again showed himself dominant on the shooting range and reaffirmed his status as favorite, after becoming champion with an agonizing victory in the golden arrow 6- 5 (10-9) over the Colombian Julio Ramírez.

Thanks to his outstanding performance in Brazilian territory, the Michoacan rose two positions in the world ranking and became the best in the world with 190.5 points, leaving the Frenchman Guillaume Toucoullet in second place (179 points), and the Frenchman Guillaume Toucoullet in third place. American Kevin Mather (157 points).
