(sid). When Dirk Nowitzki ended his career with the Dallas Mavericks, Luka Doncic followed in his footsteps – and is now even threatening to outdo the Würzburger. “Man, I’m so angry. He breaks every one of my records,” Nowitzki said on the show “NBA Unplugged with Kevin Hart” – and laughed.
Doncic, only 25 years old, is number one in the NBA professional basketball league this season with an average of 33.9 points. It wasn’t until the end of January that the Slovenian scored an incredible 73 points against the Atlanta Hawks, the fourth highest score in league history. Only Wilt Chamberlain (100/78) and Kobe Bryant (81) were better.
“We saw in the first season that the sky is the limit for him,” said club icon Nowitzki about Doncic. »He can do everything, he has the complete package. Every year I say: This boy can’t possibly get any better.
