Karl-Anthony Towns Nearing Comeback for Playoffs After Injury Setback

Karl-Anthony Towns is closer than ever to a comeback. Rudy Gobert’s teammate in Minnesota was injured in early March and suffered a torn meniscus in his left knee. His absence did not disrupt his team’s good run since the Wolves occupy first place in the Western Conference.

His team said this Tuesday on X that the Dominican was fit to “participate in 5-on-5 basketball activities and is getting closer to his return to play.” The pivot will therefore surely be on the floor for the play-offs which will begin on April 20.

A four-time All-Star, “KAT” is averaging 22.1 points, 8.4 rebounds and 3 assists this season. Last January, he signed his personal record and that of his franchise with 62 points against the Hornets.
