JO1’s Takumi Kawanishi (24) appeared at the first pitch ceremony of the Giants – DeNA (Tokyo Dome) on the 6th. His pitching, which made use of his 15 years of baseball experience, drew loud cheers from the stadium.
Kawanishi, who appeared wearing a uniform with the number 25 on his back and colorful pants with his first movie starring “Buzzy Noise” engraved on it, took to the mound with a nervous look on his face and threw a ball with all his might into the mitt of catcher Shunsuke Sasaki. He seemed to put a little effort into it, and the ball bounced just short of the mitt, but the speed of the ball was an astonishing 125km/h, which caused a roar of cheers from the stands.
