From April 7th to 14th, the 2024 National Baseball Championship will be held in Yizheng City. The host Jiangsu team defeated the Guangdong team 2:1 to win the championship and successfully defended the title. The Jiangsu Provincial Baseball Team won the title of Sportsmanship Team.

As the first national high-level baseball event this year, the 2024 National Baseball Championship has 12 teams and more than 300 athletes from across the country participating. The Jiangsu Provincial Baseball Team won the first place in the group with a complete victory record. They defeated Sichuan 4:2 in the semi-finals and met the Guangdong team in the finals.
In the first half of the second inning of the final, the Guangdong team took advantage of the Jiangsu team’s infield errors and hits to score 1 point.
