The dream of German European Championship gold is over. On Friday, the last remaining German badminton duo Isabel Lohau and Linda Efler were eliminated in the quarterfinals.
The quarter-finals at the European Badminton Championships in the Saarlandhalle in Saarbrücken have been played and the German hopes of a European title are over.
Isabel Lohau and Linda Efler, the last remaining German players to date, also have to pack their bags. The duo from 1. BC Bischmisheim lost on Friday to the third-seeded Bulgarians Gabriela and Stefani Stoeva.

Danes dominate the quarterfinals
