IPD Success Stories: Athletes Shine at Bolivarian Games

The president of the Peruvian Sports Institute (IPD), Guido Flores Marchan, received the students and alumni of the Experimental Sports Educational Center (CEDE) “Julia Sánchez Deza” and the La Academia program, who managed to get on the podium at the I Bolivarian Games of Youth 2024 of Bolivia.

Lyneth Córdova, is 18 years old and is already savoring the triumphs obtained in the taekwondo. “I started at Cede in 2018, I trained from 2 to 5 in the afternoon. “During all these years my The biggest priority was sport, Focused totally on taekwondo, on achieving my goals and leaving CEDE high, I have learned many things that contribute to my life, such as discipline and responsibility, and I am very grateful for having been at that school.”

Gercy Cabrera, 17 years old, applied for CEDE and trained in the sport of judo. “In the Bolivarian Games I was able to obtain the bronze medal, which is valuable for my career. Now the Cadet World Cup is approaching in Peru in August and I want to win a medal.”

PRESENCE OF THE IPD IN THE REGIONS
