Gladbach Comeback Secures Victory Over Wolfsburg

After the 2-0 win at Werder Bremen, Hasenhüttl’s first home game in Wolfsburg started as desired, Ridle Baku (7th) gave the hosts an early lead. But the Gladbachers, with Maximilian Wöber and Stefan Lainer playing through, turned the game around after the break. Ko Itakura (52nd), Nathan Ngoumou (58th) and Rocco Reitz (88th) scored the guests to victory.

Borussia improved to eleventh place with 31 points. The Wolfsburg team, where Pavao Pervan guarded the goal and Patrick Wimmer stormed for almost an hour, are 14th in the table. They have 28 points and are five points ahead of relegation place 16, which is currently held by Mainz.
