A group without much surprise. To challenge Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League semi-final first leg, Wednesday evening at 9 p.m., Luis Enrique summoned all his strength. A total of 24 players are making the trip, to try to take a lead from the first leg in the Ruhr. After having adapted the playing times in recent weeks, it is a question of fielding the best possible team for this decisive meeting.
Apart from the long-term injured Sergio Rico and Presnel Kimpembe, there are no major absentees. Note, however, that the young full-back Yoram Zague (19 years old) is not in the group, unlike his friend Senny Mayulu. For the rest, Luis Enrique invited all his executives, from Maquinhos to Hakimi via Mbappé and Dembélé or Zaire-Emery, recently extended until 2029. Left to rest for the match against Le Havre (3-3), Lucas Hernandez, Gianluigi Donnarumma, Nuno Mendes and Fabian Ruiz are all back.
Luis Enrique and Gonçalo Ramos are expected at a press conference at the end of the afternoon.
