WOW WOW WOW. What a crazy match! The Clippers led by 31 points, collapsed and the Mavericks came back into the match, then a huge money time punctuated by crazy shots, and a victory for Los Angeles at the last minute to return to 2-2 in the series.

We really wondered whether we should not send the recap of this match after the first quarter. The Clippers got off to such a good start to the match that the outcome of the match seemed sealed after 12 minutes. 39-16 Los Angeles, an untouchable Paul George (16 points, as many as the Mavericks), an insolent outside address (8/11, 73%!) and a Dallas team beside its pomp.

Two entry fouls for Luka Doncic, shots that don’t go in. The Slovenian will even take his technique for too vehement protest. Bulk ? We are on the verge of putting the match on the background and watching a film, because the two teams are diametrically opposed. James Harden also gets involved, and Tyronn Lue’s men are up to 31 points ahead!

Except that. Let’s not forget one fact: it’s Sunday at 9:30 p.m. And the Clippers love this schedule to get going after taking a big lead. Kyrie Irving gets hot, scores almost all of the Mavs’ points in the second quarter and little by little, the gap is reduced. It was down to 16 points at halftime.
Derrick Jones Jr does some crazy things after returning from the locker room, the difference in points melts again. Luka Doncic sends wonders to Derek Lively, Kyrie is really hot. The Clippers flout their basketball, the momentum is completely reversed and Dallas is 2 points away! Absolutely hot in the first 15 minutes of the match (26 points over the period), Paul George is invisible in the 3rd quarter. Luka Doncic has fun with the defense of the Voiliers who are in the West. The room is fully behind its soldiers, and explodes when the 77 from Dallas causes a forceful passage. At the end of the quarter, the Mavs are 4 points behind (82-78)!
There are 12 minutes left for Dallas, an incredible feat possible at the end of the clock. Unfortunately, the Clippers took the best at the start of the quarter, and took a 10-point lead. Mason Plumlee is very good under the basket, he makes winning shots. Dallas comes back thanks to its shadow men, PJ Washington and Maxi Kleber who find the trick. Luka Doncic, who has just picked up his 5th foul and is playing on borrowed time after illicit contact on Ivica Zubac, makes the crowd shout again by equalizing the match with a signature step back 3-pointer. It’s crazy, what a damn evening.

James Harden responds with authority and composure, Los Angeles still leads the dance but by a very very short lead. Kyrie Irving is at 38 points, totally on fire and plants a huge 3-pointer far behind the line then a one-on-3 basket that only he has the secret to. Wow!

The madness continues: Paul George hits a MABOULE shot at 0 degrees, after an extremely complicated small perimeter dribbling sequence. James Harden takes a basket and the foul makes it +5 Clippers. That’s crazy ! The Mavericks try to come back but miss their decisive shots. Free throw game, victory for the Clippers 111-116, who come back to 2-2 after seeing the choke caress their neck.
