Busy Weekend Ahead for Club Soria Baloncesto Youth Teams

The Club Soria Baloncesto youth team will play five games this weekend on the last day of the regular league of the Second Division Autonomous Championships of the different categories. The ticket to compete for the Castilla y León Cup in the second phase was achieved several days ago by the children of the CSB Codesian A, leaders, the cadets of the CSB Caja Rural de Soria A – they will be third without winning on Saturday – and the juniors from CSB Martínez and Tribez, who finished fourth in the regular league. The five duels of the Second Division Autonomous Championships are joined by the two games that the CSB Alevín Masculino will play on Sunday in La Cistérniga (Valladolid), which can still qualify for the Castilla y León Minibasket Cup.

There are four teams that will say goodbye as locals to the regular league. Among them are two of those who will rub shoulders with the best starting next week: the CSB Codesian A children’s team – who receive Baloncesto La Flecha B from Valladolid at 4:00 p.m. at the San Andrés Sports Center – and the CSB Caja Rural de Soria A cadets, whose match against the same rival in the same scenario is scheduled for 8:00 p.m. CSB Codesian A has won eighteen of the nineteen games it has played so far and in ten of them it has won by a difference of more than 50 points. The CSB Caja Rural de Soria A cadets have only been surpassed by the three teams that accompany them among those who will aspire to play in the Castilla y León Cup starting next week.

The junior men’s clash between CSB Caja Rural de Soria and Baloncesto La Flecha B, scheduled for 6:00 p.m., will complete Saturday’s day at the San Andrés. It will be the last match in the training stage of the 2006 generation. Also on Saturday, at 7:00 p.m., but in the Juventud Aranda fiefdom of Burgos, the cadets of the CSB Caja Rural de Soria C will play their last match of the season , who will finish in a creditable fourth place if they add their tenth victory of the season. It will be on Sunday, at 12:30 p.m., when CSB Infantil B seeks to say goodbye with what would be its eighth victory. In La Cistérniga (Valladolid), CSB Alevín faces San Pablo Burgos (12:30 p.m.) and Cultural Leonesa-Colegio Leonés A (6:15 p.m.). Defeating this last rival would qualify CSB for the Castilla y León Cup.
