MADRID, 12 Abr. (EUROPA PRESS) –

Real Betis Balompié beat RC Celta 2-1 this Friday in the opening match of matchday 31 in LaLiga EA Sports, thanks to goals from Juan Miranda and Nabil Fekir to get the Sevillian team out of a slump and leave the Vigo group bordering the descent zone.

At the Benito Villamarín Stadium, and after a first half without many scoring opportunities, the score was 1-0 in the 53rd minute with a low left foot shot from Miranda, following a pass from Héctor Bellerín in a run down the right wing.

Fekir established the 2-0 in the 83rd minute, with uncertainty since it had to be validated by the VAR, thanks to a right hand inside the rival area that tripped on the light blue defender Jailson. The play was born from a theft of the ball by Isco in a three-quarter line, linked to a lob pass.

This Betic victory, which was not in danger despite the goal scored at close range by Jorgen Strand Larsen in stoppage time, placed Manuel Pellegrini’s pupils in provisional seventh place, with 45 points. Meanwhile, Celta remained with 28 points in seventeenth position.
