In the second round of the Barcelona tournament, the Frenchman Arthur Fils produced a magnificent performance, crushing Alex De Minaur (7-5/6-2) this Thursday.

In great form since the start of the season with the victory in Acapulco and a final in Rotterdam, the Australian Alex De Minaur could not resist the blows of Arthur Fils (7-5/2-0) during the second round of the Barcelona tournament.

The Frenchman, however, found himself trailing from the start of the first set. While serving for the set (3-5), the Australian completely broke down and offered his next three faceoffs to the Frenchman, giving him the first set and an entry break in the second (7-5/2 -0)

In the second set, the Frenchman led 5-1 before being served in the 7th game then winning 6-2 straight away on De Minaur’s serve, on his third match point. In the quarter-final he will face Serbian Dusan Lajovic (59th) who defeated Spaniard Alejandro Davidovich (27th) 7-6 (12/10), 3-6, 6-1.
