In Vienna, the St. Pölten team appeared extremely desolate in the first half, with the result being five goals conceded. The big beneficiary was the effective Boateng, who scored four times in just over half an hour (6th, 19th, 31st, 38th). Ried wins in Kapfenberg
In Kapfenberg, the hosts, who had to replace goalkeeper Richard Strebinger with 19-year-old Marvin Wieser due to injury, took the lead with an own goal from Mark Große after a free kick. Nik Marinsek (18′) and David Bumberger’s header (30′) turned the game in Rieder’s favor before the break. Philipp Pomer (86th) increased the score to 3-1 in the second half and the match was decided.

Horn moved up to sixth place, while the Lafnitz team slipped back to ninth place.
