European Masters Softball Cups Return to Catalan Lands for Next Three Years

The European Masters Softball Cups will be played again in Sant Boi de Llobregat and Viladecans over the next three years, starting this month of October 2024, and also repeating in 2025 and 2026. The WBSC Europe has accepted this week the proposal led by the RFEBS and the clubs CBS Sant Boi and CB Viladecans so that the highest European Softball Masters championship can continue to be played in Catalan lands.

Registration for the Softball European Masters Cups 2024 will open on Tuesday, May 21. Each WBSC Europe affiliated federation may enter a maximum of two teams in each ESMC division. Teams must be nominated and approved by their respective affiliated federations. ANDThese championships, which debuted in 2019, are specifically designed to keep the softball community active and involve athletes over the age of forty from across Europe who may have previously retired.

Jesús Lisarri, president of the RFEBS, has been “delighted to bring the Master40 back to Spain for a new chapter, in collaboration with WBSC Europe and in association with CBS Sant Boi and CB Viladecans. “We are dedicated to the growth and expansion of men’s and women’s softball in Spain and Europe and we are confident in the organizational success of the event.”
