PSG: Senny Mayulu must sign his first professional contract on Monday

It is not a surprise. As mentioned in our columns on April 25, Senny Mayulu chose to stay in his training club and is preparing to sign his first professional contract at PSG. As he celebrates his 18th birthday this Friday, everything is already on track for him to extend. Appearing nine times in all competitions and scoring a goal in the Coupe de France, the midfielder, whose aspiring contract ends on June 30, has given his agreement in principle and will officially put his signature on paper in a few days.

As RMC Sport indicates, we can confirm that the signing of Senny Mayulu’s professional contract must take place this Monday, May 20, the day after the last Ligue 1 match in Metz. A priori, for three years plus two additional years as an option. Despite the interest of other teams, particularly foreign ones, the young hopeful from Ile-de-France wanted to stay at PSG which sent good signals by giving him more playing time at the end of the season, a bit like what is made with Yoram Zague.

His versatility and his seriousness on a daily basis during the sessions seduced Luis Enrique. “Mayulu, it’s a nice surprise. He can play inside, outside. For me, he is a perfect player for my style of play. He is similar to Warren (Zaire-Emery) in this aspect. I’m very happy that he continues at the club and that he wants to renew his contract here. I think he will be an important player in the future,” said the Spanish coach at a press conference three weeks ago.
