Platonov, on the other hand, draws attention to the fact that the tables do not differ significantly from the previous ones that were available before the data check carried out by the Ministry of Interior.
“If the Ministry of the Interior says that the deadline was extended to check additional data, I don’t see it that way, because there are obvious errors in some positions,” says the LPF president.
He did not mention specific federations, but pointed out that some federations that have international events listed in the tables did not even mention such information on their websites.
“There in 2023, you cannot find any competition at all. How can you give points and allocate funding for an event that, according to the information on the federation’s website, did not take place at all,” Platonov was confused.

He mentions that there are no rules, results, or description of the competition on the internet on the websites of individual federations.
Platonovs emphasizes that since this year, regulatory documents on the allocation of state budget funds provide that the tables include only such data that have been published, that is, all data must be found on the respective federations’ websites.
“If these data are not available, they should not be counted, because otherwise each federation can write anything there and say that we were too lazy to publish,” explains Platonov.
He emphasizes that this is precisely why the criteria state that the sportsmen’s register, competition rules and protocols must be published.
Platonov points out that in case the federation does not fulfill the requirements set by the ministry, the ministry should be required to submit this information and publish it on the Internet from the beginning, or put a zero in this column, “instead of awarding points without checking”.
According to him, it is irresponsible to distribute state budget funds without checking the information.
Platonov points out that there are websites of federations where the registers of athletes cannot be found, there are pages where they can be found, but the numbers are different from those published in the tables of the Ministry of the Interior.
