Unbreathable environment

The members believe that “it is becoming an almost impossible mission” for them to be able to perform their duties “in the midst of an unbreathable environment with insults, threats and attacks.” “Much more so when it comes to underage referees who are in the process of training,” he warned.

For this reason, the CTA requests that “the clubs and their fans take a decisive position in the fight against this scourge” and that “all federations and institutions linked to the world of football become aware of the seriousness of what is happening on the fields.” of Spain and adopt the necessary training and coercive measures without further delay”. In addition, it also asks the media to “firmly censor attitudes of hatred and violence on football fields of any category and avoid any justification.”

“We cannot normalize violence in any area of ​​life, much less if we talk about sport. We cannot continue exposing the physical integrity of our referees. We do not want to regret any more incidents. Without referees, there is no football,” stated the CTA. .
