Teplice – Slovácko 1:1, Teplice drew with Slovácko, Fila did not convert the penalty at the end

In the spring, Teplice scored points in the sixth out of seven matches, they failed only in the last round against Slavia, where they suffered a 0:4 debacle. However, they did not beat Slovácko for the tenth time in a row in the league. The team from Uherské Hradiště won only one of six matches in the spring, of which they lost four times, including the last round at home against Jablonec.

Teplice entered the match more actively, but the guests opened the scoring. In the 11th minute, Havlík sent Juroška into a separate escape with a simple kick behind the defense, which even Chaloupek, who was catching up, did not throw when he finished at the back post. The 22-year-old offensive all-rounder scored his third goal in the spring, and has a total of four goals in the league season.

The home team responded almost immediately. Trubač found the running Fila from the corner flag, and with seven goals already, the team’s best scorer in the league season sent the ball smartly past the running Heča. The forward of the under-21 national team, who is visiting from Slavia in the north of Bohemia, already scored five goals in the spring, all at home. In addition, he has hit in the last three rounds in which he has started.

After a hectic passage, the game calmed down, but “Skláři” continued to be more dangerous. In the 26th minute, Fila freed Jukl with his foot, whose shot, like Trubač’s shot, was blocked at the last moment by Hofmann. The playmaker from Teplice did not succeed even with a header in the 39th minute. Shortly before the break, Slovácko threatened again, Daníček’s attempt to lob after the signal from the free kick was pulled over the crossbar by goalkeeper Ludha.

The less than four thousand spectators at Stínadly did not see too many scoring chances after the change of sides. In the 66th minute, Fila was in trouble in front of the goal and got a shot from a turn, but his attempt did not go over the wall of the defending players. Immediately on the other side, Blahút forced Ludha to make another good save with a cross.

Teplice drew with Slovácko in the 25th round of the Fortuna League

In the 79th minute, Trávník’s inaccurate back pass was caught by Fila, who was subsequently undermined in the goal by Kalabiška. He took charge of the penalty kick himself, who was fouled, but unlike the previous two penalty attempts in the league season, he did not succeed. Fila chose a strong shot on the ground in the middle and Heča was able to kick the ball.

The unconverted penalty did not break the home team and in the end they pushed for victory. Fila’s man of the match failed to shoot past the visitors’ self-sacrificing defenders in the next chance. Teplice did not reach three points, but at least they did not lose at home to Slovácko after three games.
