Aryna Sabalenka returned to the field at the Miami tournament for the first time after Monday’s tragedy, when her ex-boyfriend Konstantin Koltsov, a forty-two-year-old former Pittsburgh Penguins hockey forward, committed suicide, according to the police, by flying off the balcony of the the hotel he was staying in. The Belarusian world no. 2 faced and beat the Spanish Paula Badosa in two sets 6-4, 6-3 to reach the round of 32 of the Master 1000 which is being played in Florida.
