TRACKS – Accident at the Tittoni cross-track in Cingoli. A 14-year-old resident of Staffolo fell, who was training with other pilots on the Balcone delle Marche track. The young man, while going down a hill, suddenly lost control of the motorbike and ended up on the ground. He was immediately helped by the facility staff led by coordinator Luca Cherubini: the boy was conscious but complained of severe pain in one leg. The intervention of 118 from the Cingoli hospital was requested and at the same time, given the seriousness of theaccident, the air ambulance was alerted and landed on a meadow near the runway. After first treatment was provided by the medics and the injured limb was immobilised, the young pilot was transported to the Torrette regional hospital. The boy remained alert at all times.
