He Huércal-Overa City Council has prepared a wide Sports, Youth and Tourism programming for springwhich includes a total of 48 quotes.
Among the new features of this programming, the Spring Color Fest, on April 20, a fun and colorful race that will also feature DJs to enjoy the afternoon. Added to it is the Captain Tomás de Morata Challenge, a challenge that will take place on May 5, taking as its name the Captain who attacked the Overa Tower to recover it in Muslim times as stated on the municipality’s coat of arms. This is a charity challenge that will include running, hiking and adapted sports.
Mayor, Domingo Fernandez, has highlighted the important work carried out by the Departments of Sports, Tourism and Youth “to develop programming that reaches all our neighbors with special attention to children and young people. With proposals for all tastes and hobbies, making Huércal-Overa continue to be a sporting reference, due to weekly activities, the organization of large events and the promotion of physical activity and healthy living”.
The activities They will start this coming weekend with a Judo Day on Saturday, March 23 at the Pavilion, next week the Soccer Campus from April 25 to 27 at the El Hornillo Soccer Field. Completing the programming every weekend until the end of June with Rhythmic Gymnastics, Hiking, Volleyball, Grassroots Soccer Tournament, Powerlifting. Theater, skating, painting, drama, athletics, swimming, chess, yoga, artistic gymnastics, parkour, tennis and the long-awaited summer pool.
