Lawyer Eduardo Chiacchio, interviewed by Sportitalia, applauds the Sports Judge’s decision to acquit Francesco Acerbi: “I believe in the good faith of Juan Jesus and the Judge who makes a precise passage also believes so. If he didn’t believe in this faith he would have had to take measures taken against him. An impeccable decision because in sports justice a piece of evidence just above average probability is enough, in this case not even a serious and consistent piece of evidence that could have led to a conviction was reached. In this case there was no test, video or film”.
Chiacchio highlights two other aspects: “The testimony was also missing, all this did not emerge and the acquittal was inevitable from a technical point of view. The acquittal was correct. Finally, I believe there was superficiality: in all the interrogations by the Prosecutor’s Office Federal, the member can get assistance.”
