So the Pro Loco Of Mercogliano for the tragic and sudden passing of Costantino Maietta, soul as well as of Badminton ialso a member of the Italian Para-badminton player, who suffered a heart attack this morning.
For many years he also taught physical education at the “Imbriani” and “Virgilio” high schools.
He has always stood out for his availability and generosity, making himself loved by everyone for his immense ability to be there and never hold back: NHe is not an athlete for his physical and technical qualities but precisely for this reason he has always and in any case given himself with great commitment for others, without exception.
“Gvery great, rare and unique person who always went to the aid of the Last– continue the friends of the Pro Loco – You have done so much for me and the other athletes. You have truly been an exceptional person and an example for others who will engage in Para Badminton and the able-bodied Badminton group. The mayor of Mercogliano, Vittorio, also remembered the figure of Professor Maietta D’Alessio: “Gcontagious rinta and humility, sporting passion and admirable courtesy. An important point of reference not only for its athletes, an example of resilience and attention to others. A good, genuine person. With Prof. Costantino Maietta we have achieved many beautiful things in Mercogliano, initiatives of sporting and human value.
I remember his face full of pride at the presentation of the first badminton club in the city, the Asd Atletica Avellino Badminton – Gruppo IC Mercogliano, a unique opportunity for our young people to create aggregation, cultivate dreams and distract themselves from bad habits.
I want to say thank you to Prof. Maietta for his encouragement and for always conveying to me the importance of being available to others, especially those in difficulty.
May the earth be light on you, dear professor.”
