Portland Blazers Fall to Los Angeles Clippers in NBA Showdown

Toumani Camara and Portland logically lost to the Los Angeles Clippers 103-116 on Wednesday in the NBA, the North American basketball league.

Camara, holder, spent 18 minutes on the floor and compiled 3 points, 2 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 steal. Scoot Henderson finished as the game’s top scorer for the Blazers with 18 points, insufficient to take over the Clippers of Paul George (27 points) and Kawhi Leonard (24 points).

Portland remains 14th and penultimate in the Western Conference ahead of San Antonio and behind Memphis, beaten at Golden State (137-116). The Clippers consolidate their fourth place in the Western Conference of which Oklahoma City is still the leader thanks to its 119-107 victory against Utah. Sacramento ranks 6th by winning 89-123 in Toronto.

In the East, the clash between Boston and Milwaukee turned to the advantage of the Celtics who had the match in hand for 36 minutes before seeing the Bucks, deprived of Giannis Antetokounmpo, pick up in the last quarter. Jayson Tatum (31 points) and Kristaps Porzingis (17 points) finally sealed the victory for the Celtics who remain at the top of the Eastern Conference ahead of Milwaukee.

Cleveland, third, failed to take advantage of the Bucks’ defeat to climb to 2nd place after its 104-107 defeat against Miami. The Cavaliers are ahead of New York, Orlando and Indiana, which remains 6th after a 103-122 success in Detroit. Miami is 7th ahead of Philadelphia, beaten 115-102 in Phoenix.
