Meet the EifelCup
Despite extremely poor weather forecasts, the Vermins men’s team went to the Eifel Cup in Zülpich this year. Unfortunately, the desired end result of the tournament was not as expected. Due to the increase in the number of teams, not only has baseball been shortened with just one hour of play per day, but the tournament system has also suffered. So with 2 wins and 1 narrow defeat in the strongest group they had to qualify for a place in the semi-finals with a bunt and throwing contest. Next year they hope for more playing time and a better tournament system.
The Vermins team still looks back on a successful weekend! We had a lot of fun and brought the team closer together again.
