Poland and Wales qualified for the play-off final, the winner will join the Blues group

Poland crushed Estonia (5-1) while Ukraine beat Bosnia-Herzegovina (2-1). The two teams will face each other in the play-off final and the winner will find themselves in the French team group for the Euro.

Poland and Ukraine qualified on Thursday for the Euro-2024 play-off final from which Israel was eliminated, beaten by Iceland. Ukraine won (2-1) in Bosnia-Herzegovina and Poland, without a goal this time from its star Robert Lewandowski, dominated Estonia at home (5-1) who played with ten from the 27th minute and the exclusion after two yellow cards from Maksim Paskotsi.

Irsaël, whose match was relocated to Budapest, lost (4-1) with goals from Gudmunsson (39th, 83rd, 87th) and Traustason (42nd), against one from Zahavi (31st) who opened the scoring from the penalty spot, and who missed another in the second half. Israel finished at ten following the exclusion of Reviro (73rd).

In the final of these play-offs, which will deliver the last qualifiers for the Euro in Germany (June 14 – July 14), Poland will face Wales on Tuesday, victorious over Finland (4-1). The winner of this match will be placed in Group A of the Euro with France, the Netherlands and Austria. Iceland will face Ukraine and Georgia will challenge Greece, which played against Kazakhstan on Thursday (5-0).
