“It is a fun sport and, above all, it has been gaining a lot of attention recently due to its ease of play, the number of hits that are given and without it being too demanding, so it can be practiced by all audiences of all ages.” This is how Luis Antonio Rosillo defends the “landing” of Pickeball in Cuenca.

Together with Eduardo Martínez they have promoted a promotional day that has been a complete success, having a flow of participants who within a few moments of the day had already occupied the nearly fifty paddles available for their practice.

Thus, the Samuel Ferrer has witnessed a fun day of promotion with the participation of the public of all ages of this sport that mixes the dimensions of the badminton court with aspects of paddle tennis and tennis.

It is assumed to be a turning point in the province of this peculiar sport that has had more than 50 million licenses in the last year in the United States and that is beginning to “spread” throughout Spain, especially in the southern and eastern areas. while in Castilla-La Mancha the first clubs are already appearing in several provinces.
