Patrick Hasenhüttl and the German third division team Hallescher FC are finally going their separate ways.
As the club announced on Monday, the contract with the 26-year-old was terminated by mutual consent. The HFC also announced that Hasenhüttl is ending his active football career for health reasons.

Son Patrick moved from Austria Klagenfurt to Germany in August last year. Hasenhüttl made 14 short league appearances for Halleschen FC (a total of 175 minutes).
The German third division team has not had any plans with the attacker since the winter. In January he was released to search for a club. When looking for a new club, Hasenhüttl couldn’t find one – possibly due to his health problems.
