“I don’t expect a very hostile environment.” Sabadell’s visit to Riazor on Saturday will bring with it the return of the last technical secretary and the penultimate coach of Dépor. Carlos Rosende and Óscar Cano are back at Riazor after a last season that ended with the departure of the former and the dismissal of the latter. The man from A Coruña, now the sports director of the Catalan team, believes that there will not be any special reception for the Nasrid coach, who did not connect in the best way with the blue and white fans, beyond the sporting results. “I hope that the Riazor fans are with their team, which is what they always do. There have been a few previous days with slight references from A Coruña to Óscar Cano, some of players who did not have a protagonist with him in Deportivo months ago. For Rosende himself it will not be just another game. Deportivo is the club from his city and it is the one that gave him the opportunity to pursue a career in sports management. There were many very good years, I have great friends working at the club. I’m the first to expect Deportivo to be promoted to celebrate.
