The group opponents of the German women’s national soccer team in the preliminary round at the Olympic Games in Paris have been determined. As the draw in the French capital revealed, national coach Horst Hrubesch’s team will play against the USA, Australia and either Zambia or Morocco.

The first game against the previous World Cup hosts and fourth-placed Australia will take place on July 25th in Marseille. Whether Zambia or Morocco will make it into German preliminary group B will not be decided until April.
