The Belgian national goalkeeper seriously injured his knee again – this time his right one. It was only last August that Courtois tore the cruciate ligament in his left knee, and now the right meniscus is affected.

Courtois had only just returned to full training with Los Blancos after tearing his cruciate ligament. His comeback after the international break seemed possible.
