“The NSA’s control department has uncovered serious misconduct that is identical to the information presented in the media about the investigation of law enforcement authorities,” said NSA Chairman Ondřej Šebek. “On the basis of the carried out inspection, administrative proceedings will be initiated, in the framework of which CTS will be asked to return part of the subsidy that was used in 2021 in violation of the issued decision on the provision of the subsidy,” he added.

The police of the Czech Republic accuses five people of fraud with state subsidies, among them the president of ČTS Ivo Kaderka. Vojtěch Flégl, a member of the supervisory board of the union, is also in custody. Both face up to ten years in prison, they deny criminal activity.
