Tyreek Hill from Miami shows young people what makes a football star. But training with one of the NFL’s best pass receivers is expensive fun – and a photo costs extra.

The star of the evening arrives late. It was scheduled for 5:30 p.m. At two minutes before half past five, Tyreek Hill runs onto the artificial turf field behind the main stand of the stadium on Bornheimer Hang. In the middle circle of the side field he is enthusiastically received by the children and young people gathered there. As soon as he reaches them, they form a cluster around him, jumping up and down, and repeatedly calling out his nickname: “Cheetah, Cheetah, Cheetah!”

They had previously completed a half-hour warm-up program under the guidance of American coaches. The trainers explained in English how to complete the exercises and commented encouragingly on each successful execution. “Good job!”, “well done,” it echoed across the soccer field, where mostly German comments can be heard.
