Matías Rojas Set to Join Lionel Messi at Inter Miami: Terminates Contract with Corinthians and Heads to the United States

Matías Rojas will be Lionel Messi’s teammate at Inter Miami. After he terminated his contract with Corinthians due to a conflict with the leadership, the Paraguayan will travel to the United States to be under the command of Tata Martino.

Before joining the Brazilian team on a free transfer, the left-hander had received offers from Boca: Juan Román Riquelme had really liked his time at Racing.

The journalist specialized in the transfer market, César Luis Merlo, assured that it is already done: “He arrives as a free agent after his departure from Corinthians due to non-payment.”

Rojas decided to break relations with the Brazilian club after several months full of tension: the leadership was not responsible for paying him what they had arranged and the footballer played less and less, until he missed a training session last week and stopped going.

The board of directors assured that they were trying to fix the situation, but in the end it did not happen: the Paraguayan left Corinthians and will join Inter Miami to play in Major League Soccer, the Leagues Cup and the Concachampions.
