Manuel Ruiz de Lopera dies at 79

Manuel Ruiz de Lopera, former president of Real Betis, has died in Seville at the age of 79, as reported by his family to Cadena Ser. Lopera has died after failing to overcome the latest medical problems, which caused him to be admitted to hospital on January 5. in the ICU of the Santa Isabel clinic in Seville for a chronic intestinal ailment, for which he already underwent surgery in 2017. The former Verdiblanco president presided over the Betic club from 1992 until Judge Mercedes Alaya seized the shares of his company Farusa in 2010.
