Local Brothers Earn International Archery Recognition

Following their participation in numerous indoor competitions at the national level, Antonin Docquois and his brother Nathan obtained results allowing them to be selected to participate in the international tournament in Nîmes then, for Nathan, in the French championship which took place took place in Grenoble.

In Nîmes, there were 1,100 participants from 47 different nations. Antonin (S1H) and Nathan (U21) competed in the “compound bow” category. After the qualifying shots, the two archers could not be selected for the grand finals. Nathan arrived 19th, he was one point short for the rest, Antonin, with 572 points, ranked 82nd out of 150. Antonin Docquois nevertheless distinguished himself with a third place in the secondary tournament. In Grenoble, Nathan obtained third place at the French championships with 568 points, ahead of two archers from the federation’s hopeful pole. Antonin did not participate, he concentrates on outside shooting.

“The Ségala archers” are delighted with these results, especially since these two brothers were trained by the club and actively participate in its operation.
