Dominic Thiem will serve at the BMW Open.
The organizer announced this via Instagram. Thiem receives a wildcard at the ATP 250 tournament in Munich. Thiem also played in the Bavarian capital last year, but lost to Taylor Fritz after an opening win. In 2016, Thiem even reached the final in Munich, but had to admit defeat to the German Philipp Kohlschreiber.
The BMW Open will take place from April 13th to 21st this year. Until then, Thiem will compete in three Challenger tournaments. This week the 30-year-old is playing in Szekesfehervar, Hungary.
