Surprised by the management of Kylian Mbappé (25 years old, 24 games and 24 goals in L1 this season) at Paris Saint-Germain, Bixente Lizarazu gave advice to Luis Enrique. The former left-back believes that the Parisian coach should take an example from French coach Didier Deschamps.
“He is not just any player but, like any player, he needs to flourish in a peaceful and caring environment, advised the columnist of the newspaper L’Equipe. With Didier Deschamps, he bathes in this type of environment. The coach knows how to manage and perhaps Luis Enrique should take inspiration from the method of the boss of the Blues.”
“But this does not seem to be in the personality of the Spanish coach who does not want any head to stick out in his team. However, that special players are treated in a special way, is that not the very essence of management? This requires humanity, understanding, pedagogy, trust, all the ingredients that Deschamps uses with Mbappé,” recalled the 1998 world champion.
